Old-school carpentry is our company standard.
From cabinetry and built-ins to hardwood flooring, staircases, doors and tile, our carpenters transform spaces the slow, right way. We trained under master woodworkers — including our own, John Little — and we build like it.
Custom cabinetry is available in-house: designed for your space, built in our shop, installed by the same hands. No catalog boxes, no "close enough."

Questions we get
Do you build cabinetry yourselves or order it?
In-house. We design and build custom cabinetry in our own shop, so fit, wood species and finish are exactly what your space calls for.
Can you match existing trim in an older home?
Yes — matching historic profiles is a specialty. We regularly reproduce casing, base and crown in Evanston and Wilmette's older housing stock.
Do you take small carpentry jobs?
We do. Clients who started with a single built-in have been with us for a decade of projects since.
